Yeah, I'm still here. August was crazy. I'm glad it's over. Here are a few things we did last month.
1) Helicopter rides. Porter loved it. Cameron not so much. In fact, I was surprised he wanted to go. Everything was fine until we were about to take off and then he flipped. He cried the whole time. I really felt bad for him. I understood why he was scared. There were no doors on the helicopter.
Right before the tears started.
This was after we landed. He had quite the grip around my neck
John and Porter ready for take off.
2) Porter's 6th Birthday. It was simple. And nice to have it that way. We've always done parties but it was just our little family this year. We went bowling, had pizza and I made him the cake he requested.
3) Porter started Kindergarten. He loves it. Which makes me very happy. Cameron misses him.
4) Family Reunions. We had two and really enjoyed them.
Pony rides
Bottle rockets were a big hit! Porter and his cousin, Cohen.
We had a lot of fun, made more memories but now, I'm glad things are slowing down. The air is getting cooler. I smell fall in the air and it makes me happy.
Looks like fun... except the helicopter rides... YIKES!!! I would be totally scared too without the doors... actually with the doors, I am chicken when it comes to heights and flying.:)
